Today, at the first-ever World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) in Mumbai, Prime Video released the first look teaser for the eagerly awaited Panchayat Season 4. WAVES, an annual event hosted by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, brings together artists, creators, and professionals from a variety of fields to celebrate creativity and innovation in the entertainment industry.

Who makes up Panchayat Season 4’s cast?
The beloved cast, which includes Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, and Pankaj Jha, will return to the show in July. Panchayat, which is produced by The Viral Fever, was written by Chandan Kumar, directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Akshat Vijaywargiya, and produced by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar.

Cast and creators of Panchayat on the grassroots narrative of the series at WAVES 2025
Insights into what makes Panchayat such a remarkable series were provided by a panel discussion on “The Making of Panchayat – Grassroot Storytelling,” which took viewers behind the scenes of the show’s development. The release of the Season 4 first-look teaser marked the conclusion of this conversation. Manish Menghani, Director and Head of Content Licensing at Prime Video India, moderated the conversation, which included participation from the cast members Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, and Sunita Rajwar as well as creator and director Deepak Kumar Mishra and writer Chandan Kumar. Together, they examined the emotional resonance, authenticity, and distinctive storytelling of the series.
