Stocks to buy under ₹100:
The Reserve Bank of India’s policy actions, which included a higher-than-expected rate cut of 50 basis points (bps) and a cash reserve ratio cut of 100 bps, helped the Indian stock market close with smart gains despite a tepid start on Friday.
The stock market bulls were greatly aided by this action, which caused the BSE Sensex to rise 746.95 points, or 0.92%, to close at 82,188.99. In the meantime, the 50-share NSE Nifty rose 252.15 points, or 1.02%, to 25,003.05. This closed above the 25,000-level.
Nifty Realty, Nifty Auto, and Nifty Bank all saw gains of 4.68%, 1.52%, and 1.47%, respectively, as rate-sensitive indices led the charge sectorally. Every sector closed in the green, with the exception of Nifty Media. With the Nifty Smallcap 100 index rising 0.81% and the Nifty Midcap 100 index rising 1.21%, the larger markets also celebrated.

Analysts say the outlook for the Indian stock market is still solid for the future.
Siddhartha Khemka, Motilal Oswal Financial Services’ Head of Research and Wealth Management “With officials from both sides meeting in New Delhi this week to finalize the first phase of the proposed deal, we anticipate a gradual up-move in Indian markets, supported by positive sentiment following a higher than expected rate cut by the RBI and optimism surrounding a potential US-India trade agreement.”
Global headwinds, such as unforeseen changes in US tariffs and continuing geopolitical tensions, could cause volatility, he warned.
Ajit Mishra, SVP, Research, Religare Broking, commented on the Nifty 50 outlook today, stating: The Nifty has once again gotten close to the upper band of its current consolidation range of 24,500–25,100. A clear breakout above 25,200 would signal the start of a new upward trend that could eventually move toward the 25,600–25,800 range. In the event of a correction, the 24,400–24,600 range is anticipated to serve as a solid support area.
According to Ajit Mishra, the Bank Nifty has finally surpassed the crucial 56,000 mark after more than a month of trading in a narrow range. “This segment is essential for the overall direction of the market as we now anticipate it to move toward the 58,000 level. The 55,350–56,000 range is probably going to offer solid support in the event of a decline,” he continued.
