Mahavatar Narsimha Box Office Collection Day 14: With an estimated budget of ₹15 crore, Ashwin Kumar’s mythological animated film is getting closer to the ₹150 crore mark at the worldwide box office.

The Kannada-language movie is scheduled to open in Australia and New Zealand on Thursday, August 7, after a successful run in North America, the producers said.

According to estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk, Mahavatar Narsimha made ₹1.92 crore (net) at the domestic box office on Wednesday (Day 13), the fourteenth day of its theatrical run.

This brings the movie’s India net collection to ₹114.72 crore, which is a noteworthy accomplishment for an animated film in India. Awaiting final updates, the number could rise even further.

Through a few international screenings, the movie has also made ₹5.15 crore from foreign markets, according to Sacnilk. As more international showings are added, it is anticipated that the global collection will soar in the days ahead.

With its current gross in India estimated at ₹127.1 crore, this brings Mahavatar Narsimha’s total earnings to ₹132.25 crore worldwide.

One of the movie’s international distribution partners, Prathyangira Cinemas, reported a gross of over $400,000 in North America alone.

In order to reach a larger audience back home, the Kannada film has been released in several languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.

Sumit Kadel, a film trade analyst, called the movie’s popularity a “breakthrough” for Indian animation.

For the Indian film industry, Mahavatar Narsimha’s achievement of surpassing the ₹100 crore milestone is historic. India has now demonstrated that it can produce high-scale animated storytelling as well, despite Hollywood animated films frequently earning $1–2 billion worldwide, he posted on X.
