Day 27 Box Office Collection of Kantara Chapter 1: Kantara Chapter 1 has become one of the highest-grossing Indian films globally in 2025. It is expected to reach a new box office milestone in India. The movie is almost at ₹600 crore.
Kantara: Chapter 1 made Rs 3.65 crore in all languages on Tuesday, its 27th day at the domestic box office. This is a little increase from Rs 3.25 crore on Monday, day 26. Before that, the movie earned Rs 10.40 crore on its fourth Sunday (day 25), which was a gain above its revenues of Rs 9 crore on Saturday (day 24).

Moviegoers are still obsessed with Kantara Chapter 1. The original Kannada version of the movie had a theater occupancy of around 11.94% on Tuesday. On day 27, the Telugu and Tamil dubbed versions of the movie had 8.38% and 16.09% theater occupancy, respectively, while the Hindi version of Kantara Chapter 1 had the highest attendance with 28.01%. The movie had the lowest occupancy rate (7.84%) among Malayalam viewers.

In the nearly four weeks after its worldwide premiere, Kantara: Chapter 1 has earned over Rs 855 crore, surpassing the Rs 850 crore milestone. It has now surpassed Chhaava, which made Rs 807.91 crore worldwide earlier this year, as the highest-grossing movie of 2025. After Stree 2, which earned Rs 857.15 crore last year, it is still ranked 14th among Indian films with the biggest global box office earnings. Today’s worldwide records are probably going to be closed.
The movie is currently making plans for its global English release. On October 31, it will be published in English.

In addition, Shetty’s movie is getting closer to its OTT debut. Despite the smash success, Kantara Chapter 1 will be available for streaming online within a month of its theatrical premiere. The audience’s responses to the news of the movie’s OTT distribution were not entirely consistent. Amazon Prime Video will host the OTT premiere of Kantara Chapter 1. On October 31st, it will be accessible on the OTT platform. The OTT behemoth announced the news in an Instagram post. “Get ready to witness the LEGENDary adventure of BERME In Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam #KantaraALegendChapter1OnPrime, October 31” was the caption on their post. The Hindi version of the movie on OTT, however, has not been updated.
