Day 19 Box Office Collection of Mahavatar Narsimha:

The July 25 release of the animated mythological epic is expected to bring in ₹180 crore at the domestic box office.

In just three weeks, the Ashwin Kumar-directed film, which had a rather lackluster box office debut, has grown dramatically and established new standards for Indian animation.

The Sandalwood movie, which tells the stirring stories of Lord Vishnu’s third and fourth incarnations, has become the highest-grossing animated film in India.

“When we get this kind of reception, it proves that Indian films have an audience,” Chaluve Gowda, co-founder of Hombale Films, stated in an interview with Hindustan Times. Additionally, all of the artists in Disney films are Indian.

Indeed, we had the means. The technology was available, but someone simply needed to take the chance and demonstrate that Indian animated films could be successful in India,” he continued.

Mahavatar Narsimha was made available in 2D and 3D in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.

Day 19 of Mahavatar Narsimha’s Box Office Collection

The industry tracker Sacnilk reports that as Mahavatar Narsimha began its third workweek, its earnings slowed, dropping 77.66% on Monday to just ₹1.92 crore on Tuesday.

But Mahavatar Narsimha’s 19-day total is a staggering ₹176.83 crore, almost exactly at the ₹180 crore mark.

The film is probably going to hit the milestone by tomorrow, Wednesday, if it can keep up its momentum.

Notably, Tuesday’s earnings for Mahavatar Narsimha are merely preliminary projections. After accounting for the night and evening performances, the number will be updated.

Global Box Office Revenue for Mahavatar Narsimha

At the worldwide box office, Mahavatar Narsimha has also performed remarkably.

In 18 days, the Kannada film made ₹221.25 crore worldwide, with ₹13.1 crore coming from the international market.

The total revenue for Mahavatar Narsimha in India is ₹208.15 crore.

Chapter 2 of Mahavatar will be released in 2027

It is anticipated that the second installment of the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe will be released by 2027, Chaluve Gowda told LiveMint.

Without a doubt, the next chapter will arrive sooner. As Ashwin Kumar is already in the midst of his development, he promised his fans that Chapter Two would be released in two years.
