Box office statements for Avatar Fire and Ash: James Cameron’s third installment in the Avatar series is expected to live up to lofty expectations. Regretfully, critics gave the movie generally unfavorable reviews when it was first released, despite the fact that many viewers believe it should be seen on a big screen. How has the movie fared in India in the middle of this? Let’s examine it more closely.

According to the most recent Sacnilk update, the movie made ₹18.07 crore by Friday at 10 PM in India. Although it is a respectable amount for an opening day, Avatar Fire and Ash will have a difficult time surpassing the previous installment, Avatar The Way of Water, which made ₹48.75 crore on its first day in India. Bollywood’s Dhurandhar, a spy thriller starring Ranveer Singh that is currently in its third week in theaters, is a fierce rival to Avatar Fire and Ash.

After Avatar (2009) and Avatar: The Way of Water (2022), James Cameron’s third movie in the series is Avatar: Fire and Ash. Sam Worthington plays Jake Sully again, while Zoe Saldaña plays Neytiri te Tskaha Mo’at’ite. On December 1, Avatar 3 made its world debut at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, USA.

The Hindustan Times review of the movie said, “There are breathtaking visuals, some of which are unlike anything seen in cinema.” Cameron is able to express his ideas on a large canvas. However, that’s all. All of that lacks emotional depth and is therefore hollow. The speech is clumsy, the characters seem flat, and the beats are so monotonous that you can already guess what will happen in Avatars 4 and 5. This is an assembly-line version of a Hollywood movie that has the same emotional range as a ChatGPT answer.
