Pahalgam terror attack:
In light of Tuesday’s horrific terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has chosen to shorten his stay in Saudi Arabia.
The attack claimed the lives of at least 26 people, including two foreigners and two locals.
In Jeddah, Modi and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had bilateral discussions. However, according to a government source, PM Modi chose to shorten his visit and did not attend the official dinner hosted by Saudi Arabia because of the terrorist attack in Kashmir.
Tonight, Modi will depart for India.
“He will now arrive in India early Wednesday morning, even though his original plan was to return tomorrow night,” the sources continued.

“I hope the injured get better as soon as possible. Those impacted are receiving every aid available,” he stated.

The Resistance Front (TRF), a shadow group of the banned Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror group, claimed responsibility.
