It goes without saying that it falls well short of the Indian box office expectations. In 11 days, how much has War 2 earned?
War 2 earned around 7.15 crores on day 11. Even with the Sunday boost, its box office receipts increased by just 5% over the previous day. The opening weekend’s earnings of 179.25 crores were nearly 89% higher than the second weekend’s total earnings of 18 crores.
After 11 days, the total net collection for War 2 is 227.10 crores. It is now the 36th highest-grossing Bollywood film ever, narrowly surpassing Chennai Express’s lifetime earnings of 227 crores. The gross total, including taxes, is 267.97 crores.
Bollywood’s highest second-weekends vs War 2
As previously stated, the film starring Jr. NTR, Kiara Advani, and Hrithik Roshan only made 18 crores in its second weekend of release. It was still far behind the top two films, Saiyaara (75.50 crores) and Chhaava (109.23 crores).
Furthermore, among other things, Sitaare Zameen Par, Housefull 5, and Sikandar were not matched by War 2.

The 300 crore club will be unattainable in India, even though War 2 might surpass the 250 crore mark during its lifetime. This implies that the producers will continue to lose money.
