After shattering animation film records, Mahavatar Narsimha hits the sweet spot with ₹150 crore at the global box office

Following its July 25 theatrical release, the Indian animated epic Mahavatar Narsimha is still having a fantastic run at the box office. According to the filmmakers, the film, which is based on the mythology of Lord Narsimha, has made ₹150 crore worldwide in just 15 days. As the highest-grossing animated film in India, it has already surpassed the records set by Hanuman and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

The earnings from the box office for Mahavatar Narsimha

Both critics and viewers gave Mahavatar Narsimha overwhelmingly positive reviews when it was released. It still made ₹4.7 crore in Hindi on Friday, bringing its Hindi net total to ₹84.44 crore after a two-week successful run. The movie continued to make money because the weekend fell on a partial holiday.

Hombale Films announced on social media that the movie had made ₹150 crore worldwide, writing, “Unleashing a divine blaze.” Until August 8th, #MahavatarNarsimha will have surpassed 150 CRORES+ worldwide and will continue to light up screens everywhere. Concerning Mahavatar Narsimha

Under the Kleem Productions banner, which is presented by Hombale Films, Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai are the producers and directors of Mahavatar Narsimha, which is directed by Ashwin Kumar. It was shown in theaters in Hindi and South Indian in both 2D and 3D. It surpassed Hanuman (2005), Incredibles 2 (2018), and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023) to become India’s highest-grossing animated film.

The animated movies that the two production companies have planned are based on Indian mythological gods. Lord Vishnu is currently working on the following films: Mahavatar Kalki Part 1 (2035), Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 (2037), Mahavatar Dhawkadhesh (2031), Mahavatar Gokulananda (2033), Mahavatar Parshuram (2027), Mahavatar Raghunandan (2029), and Mahavatar Narsimha (2025).
