The movie has steadily gained popularity across languages, especially in the Telugu and Hindi belts, despite the low expectations at the time of its initial release. Curiosity about its mythological subject and word-of-mouth have benefited it, increasing the collections daily. The most amazing thing is how a movie with modest regional box office receipts at the beginning has made it national and now international.
Telugu and Hindi versions are the most popular
The Hindi-speaking region has been the main driver, as the movie has made an incredible Rs 20.9 crore net by Day 6. Growth has been steady day by day.
According to reports, the numbers increased from Rs 1.75 crore on the first day to Rs 7.50 crore on the sixth. With earnings of Rs 7.62 crore thus far, the Telugu version has also performed admirably. The majority of the total revenue has come from these two languages.
Despite having lower numbers in other versions, “Mahavatar Narsimha” has stood tall thanks to these collections. The combined regional numbers for Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam releases are less than Rs 2 crore, but they are still increasing gradually.
